Xiaomi Mi Note 3 4/64 GB Release Is Scheduled for November 23

Xiaomi announced the launch of another version of Mi Note 3 — with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The smartphone will be available from this Thursday, November 23.

It is necessary to remind the handset looks like a Mi 6. The biggest difference between the two is the housing material (Mi Note 3 owns a stainless steel body, while Mi 6 is a glass and metal combination) and dimensions (Mi Note 3 is slightly bigger).

The 4GB version of Mi Note 3 will have all the same specs as the original device. The smartphone will board a 5.5-inch IPS panel with a 16:9 aspect ratio, boasting a Full HD resolution at 1080×1920 pixels, 401 ppi pixel density, 1nit brightness and Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection.

Mi Note 3 also rocks up a Snapdragon 660 processor and is also available in two other configurations: 6GB/64GB and 6GB/128GB. The smartphone has a 16MP front-facing camera and a dual rear camera that equipped with an aperture of f/1.8, 26.66mm focal length, 4-axis OIS and 2x optical zoom. Outside of that, the handset comes with a 3500mAh battery, which can last a full day on single charge.

One more key feature is the inclusion of face recognition tech, which is very convenient if your hands are wet or gloved and you are unable to unlock the gadget with the fingerprint identifier. In the future, Xiaomi plans to expand the use of face recognition to enable you to log in to apps and verify purchases, but for now, the company is using the smartphones as a test bed for the technology to make sure it’s secure.
