Xiaomi Mi 7 and Mi MIX 3 will be equipped with Snapdragon 845
Snapdragon 845 was officially announced by Qualcomm earlier this month. This is the second-generation chipset making use of the latest 10nm process technology, which became the successor to Snapdragon 835. It is expected that in 2018 there will be several flagship smartphones boarding Snapdragon 845. An image showing the list of the devices with the release dates leaked into Weibo.
It is reported that Samsung will release Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus in February. Around the same time, LG will introduce the G7 and G7 Plus.
Presumably, Mi 7 will debut with the newest Snapdragon SoC in April. Just like HTC U11 debuted in May this year, its successor, HTC U12, will be released the same month next year.
In June we expect the launch of OnePlus 6, ZTE Nubia Z18 and Sony Xperia XZ Pro-A. Rumor has it that the new flagship of Sony can be presented on the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in February, but it looks like it will be released later in June. Nokia 10, most likely, will be announced in August.
In September Samsung Galaxy Note 9, LG V40 and Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 will come out to the world. According to rumors, in October Google Pixel 3, Pixel XL, ZTE Nubia Z18S, Sony Xperia XZ2 and HTC U12 Plus will be launched. Motorola intends to debut in November with the flagship phone Moto Z 2019. And, finally, they say that OnePlus 6T and Samsung W2019 will enter the market in December next year.
But we and many fans of Xiaomi look forward to the release of Xiaomi Mi 7 and Mi MIX 3 with the Snapdragon 845 on board.
