Xiaomi Is Starting a New Series of Smartphones

Until recently Xiaomi has been circling around two smartphone series: Mi and RedMi. But the other day the company made an announcement about getting the third line of smartphones at mid-range prices in the rotation. It would be called BlueMi.

The insiders say that Xiaomi decided to come up with another sub-brand to fight for the rest of the market that now belongs to Oppo and Vivo right now. The BlueMi devices are going to be sold through Mi Home store only, which is how Oppo and Vivo have put on their market value. By branching out in such a way, Xiaomi will try to turn the tide in its favor.

The first smartphone out of the new series should be BlueMi X1. Recently a picture has leaked onto the internet of how the device supposedly looks. The image shows the back and side of the smartphone, the dual camera and, most likely and LED-flash.

BlueMi X1 is rumored to board a 5.46-inch full HD display, a Snapdragon 660 chip and several memory options: 4GB/64GB, 6GB/64GB and 6GB/128 GB.

We are waiting for official news to confirm or deny these rumors.
