Mi 5X Stock android
We all know that Xiaomi smartphones are now supplied with the proprietary MIUI software shell, but there may be a device running under the stock version of Android in the assortment of this Chinese brand.
According to rumors, the company intends to join the Android One program, which does not allow the customization of the operating system, and all updates its smartphones get directly from Google.
According to informed sources, the novelty is code-named Xiaomi A1, but in terms of hardware “stuffing” it is a copy of Xiaomi Mi 5X, announced last month. If the information is correct, the phone will receive a 14-nm single-chip Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 system with an eight-core CPU (Cortex-A53, up to 2 GHz) and an Adreno 506 GPU, 4 GB of RAM and a 64-GB flash module with the option of expanding by installing microSD cards. In addition, the model will be equipped with a 5.5-inch display with a resolution of Full HD (1920 × 1080), a dual 12-megapixel rear camera, a fingerprint scanner, a USB Type-C port and a 3000 mAh battery.
How much Xiaomi A1 will cost still specified. As for its hardware donor Mi 5X, its price is about $220. The date of the announcement and the timing of the start of sales, as well as a list of countries where it will be possible to buy a novelty, have not been named at the moment.
