A New Portion of Rumors About Mi 7

The launch of Xiaomi Mi 7 is scheduled for the next year. Rumor has it the smartphone will see the light of the day in the first or second quarter of 2018. But the specs of the handset have already begun to leak into the network.

From what we know for now Mi 7 will go with the popular big-screen trend. The smartphone will be equipped with a 6.1-inch OLED display with 18:9 aspect ratio and Samsung-made fingerprint sensor. It will also board a premium-class Qualcomm SoC a Snapdragon 845 processor. This chip will be released next month and its mass production should start not earlier than in March next year.

The smartphone will also board 6GB of RAM and two rear camera sensors, 16MP each. It is expected that Mi 7 will have the same battery capacity as the Mi 6 and will support the fast charging function.

Mi 7 may offer a lot of great features, but what would have made it even more unique is the 3D-facial recognition function. According to some sources, the company plans to omit that technology in the upcoming flagship as it is bothered by how raw it is right now. But we are still looking forward to any positive news about that.

What would you like to see in a new Mi 7?
