A Metal-Wrought Mi Max 2 with the Strongest Battery of All Xiaomi Smartphones Is Out


Yesterday Xiaomi officially presented the new Mi Max 2 phablet. The handset features a chunky 5300 mAh battery, wrapped in an overly-metal 7.6mm thick body.

Mi Max 2 also boards a 6.44-inch screen of 1920 × 1080 and Snapdragon 625 processing unit coupled with Adreno 506 graphics card. From the start, two versions of the phone are available: 4GB/64GB and 4GB/128GB.

On top of that in Mi Max 2 you will also see a 12MP rear sensor supported by dual-LED flash and a 5MP front-facing camera.

Connectivity features include USB Type-C, Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, GPS, and GLONASS. The smartphone also sports stereo speakers and 3.5 mm jack.

Xiaomi packed a Quick Charge 3.0 into Mi Max 2, which allows to rejuvenate the battery much faster.
